I Got up at dawn to begin building my Altar to Dieu. An altar to show I honor the Sabbath above all. I will be blessed. I will work hard. I will worship on the Sabbath and use the finest blankets on the driftwood altar top, and this will show my worthiness and love. And Bijou and I will be blessed.
I found a wheelbarrow outside, against the back wall of Marvella, next to a small pile of wood planks. The wheelbarrow is built more like a cart with two large bicycle wheels and a large bin for hauling dirt and rock. Bijou was excited, as always, when we headed to the southwest corner of the meadow to collect rocks; our driftwood altar top will have a sturdy-rock foundation.
I struggled through the pain to haul the large stones over to the altar site; the two areas could not have been further apart. My sacrifice to Dieu.
The ocean will part with a hurricane-like breeze; and we will be rescued! Ma mere said it didn't hurt to dream.
Tomorrow Bijou and I will go down to the shore for the driftwood and add them to the stones to finish the altar, and Dieu will be pleased; and we'll finally be home! I can feel it in my bones.
