MEADOW MAPPING

Bonjour Grann,

I was up early today, after days of solidified immobility, I was restless. I still feel dizzy, have an upset stomach, and buckets of boredom from doing nada all day.

I wanted to finish my monument to Dieu; but once I got out of bed, and stood for more than a few minutes, I'm not sure whether I'm ready to work.

I could collect driftwood from Sea Lion Sand, which is much closer than Strawberry Clay; but there's a dangerous wild sea lion at Sea Lion Sand. And I don't think I can drag the driftwood all the way from Strawberry Clay to Kana, which is what I call the pond now.

Grann, I don't think I can finish the Altar to Dieu today. I'm not feeling better.

I think I'll draw a map and give you an idea of my homeland. I found some drafting paper along with pencils, erasers, and even a map compass. I'll begin at the south-west side of the meadow, and map that area, and if I'm feeling up to it, I'll move on to the hills and the beaches. I can pace off the area starting at the cabin and then move out towards Kana, and then the trails and beaches.

I'll keep you informed of my new place, Grann.

Ba' bye
