Today I used large pieces of driftwood to enclose the smoking racks the best I could by building a driftwood fence around the sides and back of the smoking rack. I kept the top and front of the racks open to give me access to the meat.
And I finished the altar today. I had to shim the left side of the driftwood top to get it level. I used a marble from one of the gameboards to check the altar's level.
Thanks to the ocean the altar top is flat and smooth as silk on the side facing heaven, without any work from me. The foundation is rock solid, and each layer built is even as even gets. I will consecrate the altar during an August full moon ceremony.
